Gallic Artifacts: So what are they exactly?

Hey guys, I’ve been a little dark in Disco for the last two months over a little bit of RP preparation me and Snoopyman have been mulling over for a long while concerning underdeveloped areas of the Gallic storyline, etc. It’s been a huge amount of fun and the research has been more absorbing the further we delve, but one rather critical detail proves annoyingly illusive…

Gallic artifacts: What are they? Infocard searches have proved mostly inconclusive as to their point of origin, and I’m finding it increasingly difficult to dig up any of the old forum roleplay that may exist on the subject, so here’s my queries:

1) Who created the Gallic artifacts? Do they still exist?
2) The Gallics have been trading these… oddities for centuries. How much do they know about their creators? Have the Gallics derived inspiration from these aliens in the same way the Alliance did from the Sirius’s K’vosh remnants?
3) Do they still exist in the roleplay cannon? Infocards pertaining to Gallic artefacts remain ingame, but the commodity itself has been replaced for a more readily tradable, unrelated alternative. Presently, I’m assuming that they’re still an existent Rp body.
