Kazuki woke up, he got hit in the head by a blunder that detached in the bombing. He looked around and noticed that most of the prisoners that were present in the dining room were dead. Shoot down, presumably by the Bretonian officers.
"Cowards" he muttered as he stepped to the sole officer body in the room. The officer was clearly beaten to death by the missing prisoners and had nothing of worthy with him. "Well, at least he has the keys to these track-bands" Kazuki said as he relived himself from the bands.

He went to the kitchen, grabbed a handful of knives and a utility belt, buckled up, and moved on to the smokey corridor.

Kazuki heard whispering in the darkness and kept tight to the ground. He crawled slowly towards the voice's origin. It was two Bretonian officers taking an ambush down the corridor. He knew there were bound to be more of them around, so he flickered a rock to the middle of the room. One of the officers remained at the position as the other came to check.

Theeck. A clean cut

The officer fell dead with his head decapitated before he had any chance to react. Kazuki caught the body and put it gently on the ground without making much noise.

He quickly slayed the other guard too chocking him with a iron string. And then he waited patiently. He could hear the advancing Gallic troops on their way, they were his way out of this hell.

"Fire!" The ambushing Bretonians yelled. 3, 5, 8. 8 soldiers were firing quite a heavy fire on the small squadron that was forced to take shelter behind a few wrecks that fell from the roof.

Kazuki moved fast, he took the gun, and shot the surprised Bretonian soldiers. Quickly they were dwindled to 3 before they could react. He leaped over the obstacles and joined the surrounded squadron.

The men were looking pale white, and 6 of them were injured quite severely in the fighting.
"You! Are you in charge of these men?"
"O..oui mosieur!" Louis has answered.
"Hai, good, we are going to get out of this hell-hole. Give me a grenade!"
Kazuki threw the plasma grenade at the ambushers' location. He could hear screaming in the midst of the explosion - which after there was silence.

He helped the commander to move the injured to a nearby hallway waiting for medics from up above to show up.
He searched for any survivors among the Bretonians, 2 of them were critically injured, one was lacking half a face from the plasma burn effect, Kazuki gave him the gift of mercy and ended his life. The other was taken to the hallway with the Gallic wounded.
