Axel was nervous. Nearly the entire Vorstand was in the conference room now. He looked over his files again and took a last sip from his glass of water, then got up and made his way to the front of the meeting table.
"Meine Damen und Herren." He began. It took a moment until the chat and noise in the room hat settled but then he had the full attention of all his guest's.
"I'm glad that all of you made it here without any problems. Well let's start with business then." He quickly grabbed the remote to his right and started to switch through various pictures, projected onto the wall behind him.
"As you can see the asteroid field's do not have the desired amount of ore we were looking for the in the first place. The Wildspitz field is still rich on aluminum ore at this moment, so it will be our best source of income for now. Until the operation around planet Steinfurt can begin we will have to relay on the alu mining to fuel our expansion here." He paused and let the Vorstand suck up all his info's before he continued
"As you know I have a proposition to construct a small outpost in this system. Wuppertal is sadly to far from the field and recent activities of Hessians have proven that we need a own base of operation if we want to get a foot in this system."
Another pause. By now Axel could tell that not the entire Vorstand was pleased by his idea. It meant a large potion of their money would go into this new project.
He took another sip of water and then continued.
"Now for the report's of our mining survey teams. ....."

After nearly 2 hour's Axel was more than exhausted. He was barely awake, waiting outside the conference room for the decision of the Vorstand.
Just as he fell asleep a young lady entered his field of view.
"Herr Walther? You can come in now."
"Ah well. Danke."
He slowly made his way back to the meeting table. A joyful Helene greeted him and he sat down.
"Herr Walther, I'm happy to announce that the Vorstand has agreed to support your expansion project. You will be given the found's and resources to establish an outpost in Koeln."
Suddenly applause was heard. Axel was simply to exhaust to jump from his chair but he was relived. All the work he and his team had done finally paid off.
