I meant it in more generalist way, you devs tend to forget things that are broken and exploitable in the mod for too long and this kills the Sirian economy.
From my PoV removing the depletion is good news for some fields like Dublin that were really hard to mine, however some fields could be too good while some too bad after the removal. You should rebalance the whole mining mod altogether with the removal of the depletion.
From my PoV creating only 5 10-12k sale point mining points is more then enough considering the current server activity. After you removed the depletion you should consider reducing the mining spots in order to create activity hubs.
