Here's my response. In glorious STEREO AUDIO!
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jen1cnb9kt9ksd...se%201.mp3
And text. But text is boring.

From now on I'll be voicing all of my posts in this thread.

Okay Mr. Echo 7-7. Unlike you I live in the game world. For me what is and what is not is based on what I perceive to be and what I observe to be and what I do not observe to not be and contrarywise what I observe to not be I do not presume to be what is.

What I read is the infocards on the bases, the infocards on the ships, the infocards on the commodities, the posts made inRP by people, the RP that we work hard to make. And the RP that I'm proud to have a part of.

What you perceive to be I perceive to not be because what is is not what you sai is and what is not is in fact what you say it is. If then what is not is then what is not is and what is the point of RP at all?

Let's get some little infocards into this shall we?

First off we can say that Bretonia is stronger than the Corsairs. Or they can be of equal strength, going by the infocards I can't tell. But ingame we RP that the Corsairs are weaker than the Bretonians.

Would then Bretonia shy away from stomping out piracy if it knew that it could deal with the response? For example, let's say that there's a station in say... Omega-3! That's a good one Jono, right on the border of Bretonia, lots of BAF activity there. This station is Neutral and it supplies Pirates and Corsairs. Would not the BAF step in and roflstomp it?

Oh wait no.

You have already written in stone that Bretonia is wary of the response of the Zoners.

Wait a second, aren't the Zoners so weak that even the XA can walk all over them?

That's what I thought from your post, can't even contest the moving of one battleship by the Corsairs, a faction nominally weaker than the Bretonians.

That's what you are saying right?

Then what's this I read? Ooh, the Freeport 1 infocard! this will have some good information for me to base my roleplay off.

Blah blah blah, founded, blah blah blah.

Quote:Small ships are known to be constructed here, sold to both freelancers, criminals and other Zoners.

Well that settles that then, Freeport 1 shall become a BAF base next patch update for sure.

Oh wait, it continues, let's read this before we make any judgements

Quote:and although Bretonia has made irritated noises towards the Freeport, they have as yet left it alone, preferring to put up with the annoyance of criminals docking there to the unknown consequences that might otherwise occur by antagonising the largely peaceful Zoner society.

Oh wait. Then does this mean that Bretonia would not like the consequences of attacking a Freeport? It certainly seems that they've done a risk assessment and put that in there on the "Things not to do" list.

Oh well, maybe there's another infocard I'm missing out on that states Corsair überstomp-ability. Let's go look for it.

OOH! This is my station! Freeport XV my lovely BBY, show me the Corsair independance and how scared you are of those nasty spanish banditos.

Oh wait

Quote:Freeport 15 is a large producer and exporter of food in the Omicrons. The station was recently modified to house several biodomes. In addition to supplying local Zoner demands, the biodomes provide food for the Corsairs, Order, Bounty Hunters and even some of the more remote GMG installations, as well as anyone else who wants to make a purchase.

Oops. My station is a large exporter of food to the Corsairs.... Well nevermind, maybe Freeport 11 will show me this supposed Corsair superiority?

That's another one in the confederation by the way

Quote:Freeport 11 is the new outpost built by Zoners in Omicron Delta. Strategically placed between Nomad systems and Corsair territory, Delta is an attractive system for criminals, explorers, Bounty Hunters and Order pilots. Although building biodomes in this far-away and dangerous place was very expensive, it has allowed the Zoners of Freeport 11 to be selfsufficient, and also trade Food and Oxygen to other stations that can't produce it themselves.

Strategically placed? Why would you place something strategically and refer to it as that if you weren't at least a little interested in military things?

Hmmmm

Maybe Freeport 9?

That's right outside of Gamma, they must be cowering in terror!

Quote:Freeport 9 was one of the first human settlements in the Edge World nebula. Built by Zoners who felt they could not be far enough from the influence of the major Houses, it was for several decades the most remote civilian outpost in the colonies. Despite its location in a system filled with strange nebula and forbidding black crystals, however, Freeport 9 is a frequent stop for criminal organizations looking to buy Food from the Freeport's biodome, while Cryer Pharmaceuticals has shown an intense interest in the Alien Organisms that colonize many of the asteroids in the system.

Frequent stop for many pirates looking to terrorise the Freeport?

No wait

Buying food

Because they don't have any

Because they can't make any

So they starve....

MY BAD!

Edit: Removed the sentence start at the end of the post.

Because it made no sense.
