It's not a problem to dodge him, a problem is that you can't fight - because you can't down a BS.
Repair ship? Ok, it is supposed to supply bots/bats and it can be taken down.
BS can't with 2,3,4 fighters, so it just unbalances a fight.

But.. but... why should the fight be balanced unless its an arena match?
If the BS cannot catch you, it makes perfect sense for it to provide support for those that can. What you are saying is like saying that a BS cannot have fighter escort 'cause then the bombers cant' get through.

Well, not quite, is like saying that your enemy should not use their catapults against you, since they are made to take down walls. Well, they are your _enemies_ after all.
