The year is 819 A.S., or After Sirius. What we once knew as 'Earth' was destroyed, the whole universe was destroyed. Five nations sent out sleeper ships to try and save humanity. Four nations established themselves close to one another. Germany became Rheinland, What was America is now Liberty, The United Nations has become Bretonia and Japan is now Kusari. It wasn't until recently the French, now Gallia, made themselves known. Each nation took over one main planet, in a home system. Expansion is a natural thing, and it happened here. Most planets we know of are inhabited, and if they aren't, they will be soon. Space stations have been built for ease of access for supplies, and to cope with the rapid population increases.

Space travel has become more accessible to the every day citizen, this has allowed people to leave the home planets, and make their own groups. Pirates have begun to rule the skys, fighting among themselves as they try to gain territory to be able to survive. Militarys have been rebuilt costing millions of people lives through wars at a much larger scale then what was happening back on Earth. People who are interested in profit have been able to create business', trading goods with neighboring planets, and systems.

I was born into the Liberty Rogues, a pirate group based in the Republic of Liberty. We use to rule the skys here, the navy hadn't been able to eradicate us, and although we may now be far and few between, we are still here. Things were good, we were living lives of luxury when Moka was in charge, we weren't scared of what would happen if we were ambushed by the navy here. Times changed, and Moka was exiled for fighting for what he believed in. One of the lesser Rogues pushed him out of power, exiling him. A group of us left when he did. We fled to Padua, as we still believed in his 'laws', we were worried about how we would be treated there with the rest of the group. We were suffering on Padua, the people were losing hope, we eventually grew to believe Moka was never to return..... We were wrong, he eventually did, bringing with him the new hope of the Padua Liberty Rogues, the disaster. A Liberty Dreadnought, making us the most powerful group of 'pirates' in Liberty space. Now we have the task of re-building. We are the superior, and we will reign again. Liberty is ours.
