Information about upcoming Zoner changes

Your point is? You don't need a battleship to RP a colony ship. That's like saying people can't sit inside 18-wheelers when they evidently can, and with a little "ROLEPLAY" you can say it was turned into a multi-deck, fully functioning city ship.

You CAN and SHOULD: Roleplay it properly to make it a colony ship, regardless whether or not that it's "designated" as a colony ship. I roleplayed an Arrastra as a research vessel. Anything is possible with ROLEPLAY.

You CAN and SHOULD: Stop whining.

With this in mind, ample compensation should be given to those who are losing ~400 million on their conversions.

As colony ship is not just shell of hull, but a ship which actually costs alot of human-hours and cash to build, its cannot be not equipped with typical battleship turrets, as any other ships with same size. You can RP this ship as you want - colony ship, mobile base of operations, freeport. But the thing is, there's always cross line - part of RP is always PvP. I'm not fan of PvP, nor good with it, but its a fact. So, if Zoner capitals would be nerfed, it'll change attitude of other players towards Zoner player, it can be much more aggressive, simple because he can vaporize you without even getting a scratch. People are people.

So a question, as player to player, would you like too see these changes implied to your favor faction/capital ship? Not saying at all should Zoners keep using guns in wild Omicrons or other regions, just want to hear what you think from player side, not RP.

The balance statements have not been released yet. Who says that a transport has to be weak? A CAU8 Bison can kill an Outcast destroyer. For all we know, these ships could have massive powercores, tons of transport turrets (12 charons can rip things apart, imagine 20+), and some serious hull points. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

As for our favorite capital ships, I'd like them to be removed in the case that they should not exist in such large numbers, I.E. Red Hessians or Blood Dragons, hell, even LWB can fly cruisers.

I will gladly buy a transport, like a BWT, even, and roleplay that as a colony ship. I will do it.
