Information about upcoming Zoner changes

it is not yet clear if they will only do transport weapons - or if they can mount hybrid weapons ( like transport + GB or so )

As someone who was always interested in Zoner RP, seeing their take on the Salvager (with less emphasis on mining and more on hauling/passenger transport) doesn't sound like a bad change. If the ships are as durable as they sound with increased cargo holds, but reduced firepower, I look forward to being able to do some deep-space hauling and meet with other players along the way. Are big guns really necessary for good RP? As many have said, if a large portion of Zoner activity is comprised of sitting and chatting in expensive capital ships that see very little use, perhaps it's time to reassess. If anything, won't these unique battletransports give more people incentive to fly Zoners because of their hybrid role, utility, affordability(?), and ability to actually dock at lanes/gates/jump holes comfortably?

Also, if I recall correctly, wasn't a great deal of the last year's Zoner drama (including [ZA]) - in Liberty and elsewhere - about the Zoners' sovereign right to transport colonists and goods in capital ships through house space? Well Hallelujah and praise the Devs, your prayers have been answered!
