I'm concerned that , as a leader of this community, a simple well-known fact seems to have slipped your mind: Leaders govern with the consent of the populace.

Again...this is not a democracy. It's a game server. You play at the will of the server administrators and their designated staff. Know your place.

transports are too easy to kill. this will get dull.

You say this without knowing any of the stats on the new ships, so this is complete assumption and ignorance. This makes the argument much less valid.

I don't play as much any more, as i find it really tediuous that no-one tries to pirate me, and there is no-one to pirate.

This seems to run contrary to what is said in other threads about how there are so many transports out there power trading now and not enough pirates. So, there's a disconnect in your reality somewhere.

this being a game server doesn't change the fact that if there are no more players, there is no more community to model for.

piracy is just not possible anymore. pob's blocking pirate access, gb spawns, jump drives, cloaks... which faction do you pirate in, maybe i'll join your pirate faction.

transports are easy to kill. if four titans can take down a cruiser, then i cannot see how the supertransports will be any different. and if the ships will still have the firepower, what is the point in the change? to boost their cargo holds? that's a line change. to make them more 'colony shipish' by reducing their armour? also a line change.

but a reclassification undoes thousands of hours of player-driven content, and the authors' of said content are asking why. You seem to be arguing 'because'. "Know your place" is a very pedogogic statement that is hard to justify in the context of player-driven content, but that is your opinion, and I will defend to my last breath your right to voice it.
