If you're afraid of a bunch of caps coming at your base with a specific animosity toward Zoners because of forum stuff, then that's probably metagaming and in addition, once you get your base up to Core 4 they would need to bring 8 or more caps and siege the base for over an hour and a half (from what I understand)-- so you would need to earn that sort of attention.
Otherwise, I don't think such a scenario is likely to happen.
