Are discussing here our personal opinions or what is best from a lore and gameplay point of view?

Lore view.

Think that a houses like Bretonia and Kusari currently have less than 20 battleships, I doubt that these far smaller and FAR less resourceful organization could scale up to their abilities.

Core shouldn't be able to freely produce Makos, maybe the cruisers and some BCs, but the Mako should be a rather rare sight.
