I am not surprised. In my experience I've noticed active Indy factions tend to be hunted down and griefed until they no longer find the game fun. I would recommend playing with untagged ships and perhaps doing trade convoys if you have the manpower, I'm sure those would be fun if you're looking for RP. Generally, attempt to stay unnoticed and perhaps find some people you like to RP with and hang around their space. Liberty is generally a pretty bad place for quality RP, mostly because it has all the new players that don't know what they're doing, or just don't care. It sounds bad but that's just the reality of Disco. Don't try to point this out and have people fix it though, they'll just bury their fingers in their ears as they usually do. Trick is to avoid getting in to iRP conflicts with the same people/factions often so that you aren't always targeted by them. Good luck in escaping the toxic side!
