Also, I think that it's inappropriate to say that the recently published proposed changes to the Zoner ship line were sudden, given the discussion on the matter stretches over many months (across both public and private media).

I think that can fairly depend on who you involved in said discussions, to me from the comments of this thread it turns out that a lot of folks affected by the matter has been excluded from said discussions prior to this announcement, thus to whom this change must been kind of sudden (note: we are still talking about a point in time which happened a month ago).
