Soooo, Corsairs are native to Liberty then? Since when?
Corsairs provide us with a necessary means to acquire income so that we may stop the large-scale trading that goes on between Liberty and the other houses.
So if I conclude properly, your above statement should be corrected as "Xenos want foreign trade expunged, except when said trade suits their needs.", right?
Pretty much.
Also, generally cargo is just destroyed when we seize it. Unless it's high-value cargo like ores or needed supplies like food rations it's usually just blown up. Most of what we steal that goes unused by us would need to be sold via the black market. Selling it to USI would provide unnecessary risks for maintaining their cover. Selling to black market = supporting pirates = no no.
To answer the question that will inevitably come after this post, yes Corsairs are pirates. We quite frankly don't care since they never air out their dirty laundry in Liberty. The same goes for our relations with the Mollys that the devs apparently decided to slap in. I myself cannot recall anything we did with Mollys.
Xenos are, as of recently, turning towards a more "changing with the times" stance. We still maintain our core beliefs and plan of action, yet what we use to accomplish it is changing. It's majorly due to Pygmy's infection. You have governments and societies shirking from the original beliefs that got them elected or put them into power in order to gain more power. XA is no different. These changes do not apply to the entire Xeno faction but it does apply to the majority of Xenos since XA is the largest Xeno faction.
