Weird idea of making Disco a lil more realistic

I refuse to play games that have a penalty for dying in them. My main reason for this is: There are some players out there who get their kicks out of destroying other peoples stuff that they took time to develop. I have no intention of becoming the goat that feeds that sort of troll.

Then what are you doing here? Since I'm playing here, 2011, there has always been a penalty for dying in Disco, it's called the four (or more recently, the two) hour rule. The penalty is that if you die, your options at returning are restricted for hours. Adding such low amount of financial penalty to deaths would technically be similar to extending the two hours to two hours and two minutes. The change in time is insignificant, because all you have to do to negate the effect of this penalty is to log a trader and do one trade route per every 15 or 20 death to cover the costs. "There are some players out there..." dude, there have always been those players, only that they went mostly for the bluemsgs. And griefers exist with or without monetary penalty regardless. Your reasoning smells bullcrap.
