By orders of High Command the 202nd Howling Spirits is to be absorbed back within the 101st Ghosts of Razgriz. All of the 202nd pilots are to be congratulated on their spirit and determination in the past few months, but the experiment that the 202nd was formed to conduct-the premise of forming a dedicated attack squadron out of fresher pilots-has been concluded with relatively positive results. Hence, all 202nd pilots are now promoted to the 101st Ghosts of Razgriz. Transfer requests are no longer to be accepted. All 66th personnel should keep an eye out for competent pilots among the Outcast ranks so that we may take under our wing other competent and honorable soldiers who 'have what it takes', so to speak.

On that note, I have new instructions from High Command regarding the 101st, as well. The 101st is to be reassigned from its current position as a purely defensive squadron to an all-purpose squadron. Essentially, we've been given free reign to sit on our laurels, instead of sitting on our laurels by High Command's orders. This lets us be much more free in our actions, and we can impose our justice upon Malta's enemies much more efficiently now.

Of course, pilots can still apply for membership. There simply will not be an open invitation as there is now for the Howling Spirits. Applicants will have to speak to one of us directly, and to do that they will have to find us, which should separate most of the wheat from the chaff beforehand. Much cleaner and more efficient than our previous system. New talent, if they manage an audience, will simply wear a {CW} tag, which means {Cheese-Wedge}, the ancient symbol back on Old Earth of an Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle under the control of a Student Pilot.

On that note, pilots should report ASAP in response to this communique with all of their ships' callsigns, to the letter, double checked. I will be submitting a list en masse on the faction's budget to have all of the 202nd callsigns switched to 101st.
