Weird idea of making Disco a lil more realistic

After reading all posts in this thread I have to agree with Snake,
we need some kinde of death penalty.
Best solution so far for me is this one:

If you want a "death penalty", create a commoditiy like "Fuel Canister" which costs 4 millions, and is required to run your engine - otherwise you wouldn't be able to thrust and cruise.

We already have such for the wild cloaks, which require a powercell, costing 4 millions (used to be 1 million before), to run their cloak. So every time they die. They got to buy a new one.

That combined with ammo costs, gets you to +5 millions each death. I for example "lost" already hundreds of millions with that.

I have one other solution;
why don't we just ad escape pods to player ships?

So if we don't buy escape pod for ship we can't fly with that ship.
Of course when ship get destroyed escape pod is ejected
and who ever pick it up can sell it for same ammount of credits that we paid for it.

Ah and escape pods should be in different sizes - based on ship size (bigger ship-more crew). Of course bigger escape pods should costs more.

We could also merge Narcotic solution and my solution.
But I think only small ships should have 'Fuel Carnister' (personal oppinion).

Heh but we could go for drastic solution too, if you fly without escape pod and you get killed, well your character is lost for "ever".
