We are already paying more than half a million to just replenish mines and CDs on death. Add some missiles and/or torpedoes and it gets even higher.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you people? This isn't to discourage PvP, it is to encourage trading. Making money is already god damn easy. It's only rough at the beggining, so for new guys i'd say civvy shuttle and freighter are to be excempt from this kind of fee. Result: People can trade in a few stuff without having to lose cash when blown up.

I understand what you are saying and its actually "realistic" but you have to consider situations like this -

"I got 500 millions, I buy a BS for 480-490 million, I got 10 million with me just.

If you are intelligent enough to leave yourself only with 10 millions after cap purchase, oh well...

This'll only amplify the "I don't wanna die!" aspect of playing this game.

Different versions (for each ship class with different prices) of that fuel canister thing would be interesting though.

So back to topic, I've been thinking that those Escape pods would even have an RP content, there are Captain Escaped Pods and So on (Maybe it was calle Cruiser Captain and Battleship Captain) how about giving each the oppurtunity even in RP when he destroys it and takes the escaped pod, inRP then he could take a picture and post on forums (of course with approval of the player) that he's been captured or in prison. Yeah Escaped pods ain't a bad idea and you'd have to rebuy it all the time u die, it should be something like the ID restriction, you have to buy an ID in order to fly or else you'll get sanction, same could be done with Escape Pod, you have to buy one. Or dunno what you guys have been thinking about this.
