Shiny stuff to people who cant just wait for some days(in the current situation of the mod, its just some days, instead of some months) is a clear indication that they are not a good go for the long run. See, they reduced the toughness of grinding cash on the server, and there are not many who are staying for long on this server.
Why? Because if they get money easily, they can test out almost all kinds of ships within a months time and when they have done that, they are bored to do anything more. Since, they have not worked hard nor have they known the importance of interacting with others in here(the very reason of this game).
But in contrast, if they had worked hard to get those ships, they would not have the heart to leave the server so early since of the time they invested in getting those stuff. And most importantly, they would have known the value of RP, and they would have realised that it is the real fun in here and not the shiny ships that the mod has to offer.
The problem here is not that new players are coming here. I can see a lot of them, lot of forum accounts being created every day. But the problem is that the said new players dont stay long, i.e, they are not consistent in the server
Faction leaders should be tacking care of their members.
I had 3 of my Real life friends play. All of them quit because It was too boring to grind for hours just to able to enjoy the game. Even If u RP how does that make grinding fun . And no people dont leave because they have all they want. Its because they have no friends in game and if they make connections with people they will stay . But here is the F*** : People who dont like grinding didnt play this mod before People who liked doing stuff like that and interacting with others did. In case A no matter how many friends you have in game that wont make the game more enjoyable in case B will like grinding and RPing with their friends. The sad thing is Type B people dont exist these days as they have moved away from freelancer. So to sum it up Even is its easy or hard for you to get ships that dosent mean that you would play for a long time or not .
