Hell yeah those days... Are over imo but hey the guard Idea ain't bad imo, make Guard IFF realy hard to achieve! Yeah actually thats a nice idea you've got there. Make it REALY hard to achieve the Guard IFF in order to buy the ships and make the Cap Ships (Battleships and above) only able to buy in Guard Systems and it should be realy hard to achieve the guard rep, I remember there were times when disco had this Guard thing, it was hard to achieve it. The Guard idea actually sounds nice, so indies wouldn't be able to buy a Cap Ship very easily. Also imagine the Shops, the prices would be for sure higher so you'd have a harder time in purchasing the Cap Ships, also it would pump again the interest in doing missions like in old times, I remember doing many MANY missions for achieving Guard Rep D: That was so hilarious. You need Guard full green to purchase a cap ship as example and it should be hard to achieve. You can let the Cruisers as it is though, I think Cruisers can be acceptable for indies but Cap Ships above should have this Guard thingie.
