After some discussion it has been decided that commodity events will be introduced into the game.
These may be determined by current roleplay events, especially those which would result in an increased supply and demand of a particular item. For example, if there is damage to a base, repair commodities may be priced higher at the location where they are needed the most. A party could involve beverages, and public events may pay more for the transport of passengers or tourists. These will run for both lawful and unlawful factions, and we will try to get two operating in different parts of space at the same time.
These events will be separated into two categories.
Short, high reward events that will only last a matter of hours, these will be advertised in game and will not be run at the same time every day.
Longer, less rewarding events run that will last up to a month, these will be advertised on the forums.
Please share any ideas and supporting role play you have. I'll be reading and taking note. You may just see you're idea pop up in game! To make a suggestion, leave the following information here in this thread.
