Hmm.. if you plan on creating or restoring an account, you absolutely need a code and a signature. If you do not have both of these, you may need to get admin to help restore your account.

Do you have the Discovery mod installed on your PC? I believe the mod is what removes the need for a CD.

If you had an account activated when you first ran Launchpad it would have asked you to create an entry for it. If you did not, and you created a new account then activated it, you may have overwritten your previous account. Like Belanglos, you may also need admin intervention.
