raven claw - too strong?

Newb, I don't think everyone flys a Raven anymore. There are more Talons on the
server now. You make your choice between Class 9 and class 10 mounts and the
Talon now has a turret.
They are like the two powerful one design fighters and I see nothing wrong with that
Everyone here aspires to one or the other, making PvP a fairly close thing, the talent
coming from the pilot alone.
I have to agree with Dab, if you change one you have to bring the other into line aswell
otherwise we end up with one powerful fighter that everyone has.
The only way round this is to have lots of high end fighters with similar stats, which is
just a pain for the modders, and more for us all to complain about in balancing issues.
Leave them as they are and use them as they were designed.
There are plenty of other fighters there to choose from, and I have heard very few
complaints from the regulars on the server about this. When we fight we do it man on
man, not machine on machine.
In your defence I was flying a Raven last night, but getting my shields regularly ripped
off by Bretonian Templars, when our paths crossed in Dublin.
If my recollection is correct there were very few others on at the time. Certainly not
all in Ravenclaws.
