You make so little sense. The game is in beta. Everything changes. Codenames were changed so that Excaliburs are not OP anymore. Do you see everyone using those going nuts and selling their whole ships? No. Those who actually want to play the game will adapt and keep playing it.
No change is going to make the player rate reduce drastically. You can fix anything but the community.
