I can quote as an example the second round of my fight with nesa. He in a slipstream and me in a RH bomber.
I won the first round, after ~45 minutes of battle.
He won the second round after ~45 minutes of battle.
There was a third round, but was interrupted by dinner :P
Consider that a Slipstream has a hull of 7000, a RH bomber has a hull of 22000.
Slipy has 63 NB/SB, RH Bomby has 145.
At that time, the RH bomber was as maneuverable as a Sabre (im fact, a little more maneuverable). Slipstream, as an eagle (some say a bit more).
Conclussion: As nesa was very skilled with that ship, he knew how to use it to defeat a more powerful oponent. So, the ship is as good as the (wo)man who flies it.

i was talking about the titan here, but anyway if you replace your rh bomber with titan you would have been dead in somewhare between 1/4 to 1/2 of the time since you would have 1/2 less hull and 1/2 less nanobots/batteries and without much gain in agility and firepower with the titan
rh bomber is also more than 3 times expensive than the slipstream too, which is pretty wrong for 2 ships that perform nearly the same, however, prices isnt such a big deal compared to balance in game mechanics
