I assume you are refering to the scenario when we were fighting alongside RM in Texas, we were instructed by the Rheinlanders to ignore the Rogues until after Liberty Navy were all dead ( which we did)

Deliberate target priority is not necessarily the same as considering a target as unfriendly-neutral. Consider that, for example, a Rogue who has never seen you before and spots a BHG IFF'd vessel is likely to attack you simply for being part of the Guild.


One detail I don't think has been suggested is that, while your reputation can be more easily maintained/managed with a Freelancer ID, you could still use a BHG IFF. I'm pretty sure this can still be achieved; you would need to equip a BHG ID first to get the IFF, and then swap to a FL ID to get the proper reputation. This mixed ID/IFF combination should clear you both from a rules perspective, yet portray ex-BHG membership.
