Then, you can try making a rule, if you are exploding while jumping, it counts as PvP Death...since it happens a lot, and it shows you died in another system and not the one you were fighting in.

Pretty sure death in PvP is still death and you cannot reengage any people involved in the fight as it is. Though problem is that some people have "/set diemsg system".

Except you're technically not in PvP anymore after you've jumped out, and you can suicide (or dock) at your own discretion.
