Alright, then I suppose I should ask the community this:
Do I tax too much?
I have a indie BD that operates mainly in Chugoku and Hokkaido. The amount I tax (level 60 and above) almost always amounts to the profit they'd make on the trip. Example... 5000 units of diamonds? 4m tax. 5000 units of niobium? 6m tax (or, for either one, not pay and drop the cargo).
The goal is to get them to start using tradelanes (honshu-newtokyo-kyushu) again and not go through hostile systems. So far, it's been working brilliantly, but I've had many victims threaten me with sanction for taxing them too high.
