COMPLETED: Catch the Alien Material Convoy - Taus to Omicrons

Heyhey, welcome to another event.

When: Sunday, 22.6.
Time: 19 GMT (primtime)

What:
IMG| has some nomad/wilde artifacts and dangerous things they want to give to the Order|. Therefore they run a convoy to the Order to deliver these goods. Spies find out, the route gets leaked and a lot of people might try to get the goods.

Who:

• IMG|: the convoy + escort (secret ships)
  
• Further Escorts
  
• Order|: Interested in making the convoy arrive safely
  
• Opposing Alien/INfested force: Nomad, Wilde
  
• Unlawfuls who want to aquire the goods.
  
• Registration is welcome. Knowing who participates on which side makes it easy to see how much interest there is and where to go to find fun.
  
• Indies welcome!
  

What we do not want oorply:

• Diplo trouble with lawfuls, Houses, Police, MIlitary. Reason: Such a convoy would normally fly out of sight and would not be seen. This, however, would be counter-productive in terms of gameplay. Therefore, we assume that the convoy is invisible to these factions, while others can intercept it.
  
• Lol-Killers, who just want to destroy the cargo. The setting is that every part of Opfor has to have a reason to want the cargo intact!
  

Motivation for parties:

• Allies of convoy: Try to make the transports reach their goal
  
• Opponents interested in the cargo: Get the cargo yourself.
  
• However, there is no "winning" per se. There are so many parties interested, that it is rather impossible to get the cargo to the destination, so we will see anyway. As long as it is fun, everything is fine
  

Leaked Convoy Route:

• T23 - Kyushu - Hokkaido - Honshu - S13 - S17 - Theta - 74 - Delta
  
• we will often take jump holes and prefer them to gates/lanes
  
• we fly on plane to make finding us easier
  

Special Rules for the event - Read Carefully!:

• I reserve the right to launch another transport with that alien cargo as often as I see fit. Reason: if the transport gets shot out too fast (let's say: in Kyushu), it would kill all the effort that perhaps an Omicron ambush group has planned. As success or defeat doesn't mean anything anyway, this should not be a problem.
  
• Depending on the numbers on the different sides, loosened reengagement rules might be used (likely: a weaker party can attack again). The feature will be used to increase participation, especially of newer players who do not last long in fights. I'll be announcing this when it becomes interesting.
  
• Permission is given to join the event again, on a different ship, however if your 1st ship was an attacker in T23, your 2nd has to be a defender in Kusari, your 3rd can be an attacker again, e.g. in Omicrons, etc.
  
• And: you can can only re-join in in a system that you did not die in. So you are "dead" there, but you can rejoin in the next system on another character (see last paragraph on what you can be).
  
• By participating, you agree automatically that you will not file a report abut reengaging as permitted in the last paragraph, nor about other rules changed by the event.
  
• I reserve the right to send people that I find bad/annoying/disturbing to the event out of the event, according to Faction Right 4.
  
• Depending on how often the transports get blown up, there might be little "original alien cargo" left. Whatever commodity is on the targets, it's "alien-ish" for a reason your RP-imagination has to come up with.
