I was born to Sarah and Roger Winters on Planet Manhattan, a rather wealthy family, I lived a comfortable life at home never really going without anything that I desired. I was the third of three children but much younger as my siblings were twins, 10 years older than me. As I grew up I realised I was different to my siblings in the sense that they had also grown up with everything but they had a sense of entitlement about them that didn't sit well with me.
Having observed this through interactions with my siblings my parents one day sat me down and asked me what was going on, I simply and calmly said "I'm not like them". My father then asked me what i meant by this and i then explained about how i never liked it when they would act like they were better than others or bully poorer people or would laugh at the "help" etc. He then asked what would i like for them to do about it, I replied "I want to attend the Westpoint Military Academy" he simply looked at me and said "why?" I then pointed out that just because we have anything we want does not make us better and that i would be happy in a life where i was helping and protecting and serving our Liberty Citizens whether that meant scrubbing a toilet or putting my life on the line for those that can't protect or serve themselves.
He looked to my mother and she just nodded, He then turned to me and said "Well if that is what you want, but know you don't have to go through with it". I not only went through with this intention but also joined the secondary fleet where i have just recently come into command of the vessel LNS-Springfield which upon consultation with the crew have decided to take the next step in serving our Liberty by joining the 5th Fleet.
