wow, I don't know why people are threatening to quit/ shout at Bretonia surrendering and what not. What do you guys want? Do you want Bretonia to win the war that they are certain to succumb to? Or, do you want the plot to stay stagnant and still, as it is now?
There should be storyline advancements, and when that involves a changed role for any faction, the faction members have to adapt for that instead of just threatening even before knowing what the outcome would be. If you feel that the plot change has affected you negatively, take it to the devs with a reasonable preposition instead of arguing here.
When people are trying to improve the activity at a particular part of space, there comes a mob who just sit with their opinion of "we dont want that because it will cause harm to our beloved faction". It is not like BPA and BAF are so active that a small change will render them useless. They are not so active and these storyline changes might lead to events that might spark some life into what is now, a dull and dead space.
