do you guys think that there will ever be a point when (game wise) developers cannot possibly improve more, besides the slightly better coding?

I mean like to a point where the hardware will catch up and get a chance to get a little bit ahead?

there has to be a piont when a certain number of polygons is simply just not noticed.
or the shading just cant look any better.

i think the future of gaming is dynamic everything, light, water, ai, AIR?
