ALG Waste Disposal
Although some people assume otherwise when looking at the name, ALG is about much more than waste disposal!

ALG is one of the less conservative, less house-tied corps forming a shipping-mining-industry triangle of sorts with Gateway and the IMG.
Indeed, the IMG are ALG's closest partner and they can often be seen mining and shipping together.
Aside from that, they're the perfect corporation for someone who just wants to take various industrial goods around Sirius (and Gallia). Wuppertal refinery is the best sell point in the game for most of Gallia's exports, perfect if you're into flying very long, but profitable runs.
Unlike other Rheinland corporations, they can also go to Liberty, albeit with severe restrictions.

Because of all this, pvp obviously doesn't play a major role, but they do have sizable
defensive wings that see action against convoy attackers and such (and in a short lived turf war with DSE).

The other main business they're involved in is scrap collecting / resmelting, getting the same bonus as Junkers and a marginally lower one on premium scrap.
So if you want to collect scrap without the suspicion Junkers are often faced with (and the ability to fly larger transports), ALG is the right faction for you.

Finally, they're the only corporation that has their very own ship, and it's an amazing one at that - the best compromise of high cargo, survivability and defenses on the market, plus the ability to mine scrap metal.
