Doc looked around and nodded as he answered her question softly, "It is old world, from a lifetime past, from my childhood back when things were simple, well, back then they weren't."
He turned and smiled at her, "Nor do I." He went over and grabbed two fresh glasses.
The wine had relaxed him but he did prefer stronger. He looked through his collection and went for a bottle of Coalition Vodka, a favorite of his. He smiled at her, "What would you like?"
He smirked as he spoke, "In vino veritas." There was a pause, "Although it sometimes gets me into trouble."
