Sorry but you're wrong, if you disconnect whilst chasing someone, you should disengage immediately and then ask if it's all right to resume the chase, not just presume it is.

Perhaps you are right about that and I will do as you say in the future. However I would like to add then that after getting disconnected you have to get online again, cause otherwise I would count it as cheating. Since then I could always disconnect in a battle when I am dying and get back on later and say: Oh, sorry lost connection!

because you had fled the battle according to the rules, and since the other guy involved in kicking me out of Manhatten was also gone I stopped to teach the new pilots at West Point a lesson when suddenly you attacked me AFTER you had fled the battle.

I did not engage you with somebody other! YOU STARTED SHOOTING AT ME! I was not in the least involved of you being banned from manhattan!
I have not fled the battle according to the rules!!! According to your post I used F1 to exit (what I DID NOT do) a battle and that is actually against the rules! And however the moment I got kicked you were 4k in front of me and I was CHASING you. So what do you mean by this???

Well you could have thought of connection problems.... it is not my fault that I got kicked and if you wouldn`t have attacked me first I wouldn`t have been chasing you!

because it's against server rules? hmmm, fancy that. There are some rules, both here and in RL, that I do not like, agree with and even outright oppose, BUT I am still bound by them.

I am sorry that I have not made myself clear enough. I meant:
I don`t see no reason at all not to resume a fight after getting disconnected due to connection problems!!
And as I already said otherwise it could be considered cheating!
