Bs| is now Order|

Leader of the Order was an ex LSF agent named Casper Orillion. Once he saw the problems rising within Liberty, he and a group of loyal followers stole Libertys new prototype warship, dubbed it Osiris and escaped into the depths of the Omicron systems, from where they launched their campaigns against the Nomads.

Orillion was not the leader of the order of cincinnatus (the old organization's name) when he stole the Osiris. He clearly says during the campaign "When I found out my CO was infected, blah blah blah" - Orillion was just an officer of the order, but he became the leader of the modern-day order.

The first initiative this newly founded group engaged in was the creation of a primary fleet. This fleet would be the largest among the Order, and would be compromised of what was Black Squadron, as well as newer members who decided to join the fleet to do greater good. While smaller groups existed, the primary fleet was the bulk of the Order force, being the largest and most powerful fleet the Order had yet seen. The group operated out of Omicron 100, and was led by non other than Sius Malacos, the man who greatly helped in creating the Order High Command.

I think you should elaborate on the two-fleet system I thought up... your faction is the "Primary fleet", while all independents, as well as unofficial factions like the 42nd/122nd, make up the "reserve fleet" or "secondary fleet"; with the primary fleet being lead by a fleet admiral (yourself) and the reserve/secondary fleet being lead by an assortment of admirals and other officers controlling smaller, independently-run groups.

The reserve fleet is less organized, but is capable of operating on multiple fronts at once, whereas the primary fleet is more restricted to 'official' operations.

At least, that's my take on it.

I think the faction (and all order players for that matter) should stick to order-only ships, maybe with zoner exceptions. After 4.85 we have an entire shipline ranging from fighters to battleships with everything inbetween available to us, there's not really any valid reason to use hogosha or corsair ships.

You also know my standpoint on our allies using our ships now, I dont think corsairs or zoners should be permitted purchase or use of the gunboat, cruiser, or carrier post-4.85 without Order permission (osiris is built by corsairs, so they can still use that one, and our fighters if needed).

And it's any different for factions like the liberty navy, liberty security force, liberty police, rheinland military, etc.?

The MAJORITY of official factions in this mod are named after and based on an entire npc faction.

What we had discussed was that Order| pilots (official faction members) are the 'primary order fleet', while nonfactioned or unofficial facitoned players are members of the 'reserve/secondary fleet'.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Jamez and Dopamino here. I don't like the name change at all. "But it's just a name," you'll say. Except that this name, along with the whole "Bs| IS the Order" stuff I've seen before, I dunno...

Also, the SA became the LN, sure. But there just aren't any other LN factions. Here, on the other hand, there are plenty of other Order factions. Just doesn't seem fitting to me. Not to mention all the debates and the like about Bs|. Can't you just pick another name?

That's one of the problems black squadron had before "how can you be THE order or try controlling order players when you're just a SQUADRON?" - it was a ****ing pointless argument about symantics that people were using against the faction as a whole. They decided to solve that problem, and now people are griping about that solution.

Anyways, There is only one official order faction and probably will never be any others. None of the order 'factions' represented on the server right now are official, none of them are even trying to get official status.

Soo...Nothing there, its an empty system, I'd make it yellow...

Lost is a good system for planning pvp events in, BECAUSE it's empty =P No NPC's or anythign to interfere.

and there are some indis using Order| as their tag too...how should we know who is who?

Right now there are only two indies using the tag, and both of them are rather good players, but I have talked to them about getting the tag removed or applying to join the faction so that there isnt any confusion there.
