ENCRYPTION:NORMAL SOURCE:Battleship Strausberg - New Berlin SUBJECT:After action report, Checkpoint report
Guten abend,
Feldwebel Maximilian Meyer berichterstattung,
I am sending you my yesterday's report and apologize for not writing it yesterday due to the busy patrol schedule.
Patrol started at 13:00 SMT and was quiet up until one Hessian Cruiser approached Bonn Station - Brandenburg Border Station trade lane and disrupted it. Cruiser purpose for being there, piracy. Hessian engaged immediately by saying ''Let's dance.''. Fight began, but knowing I couldn't destroy a Cruiser with a single bomber I radioed a message on emergency frequencies asking for bomber assistance. Admiral Winter responded my call and together with two bombers, we quickly destroyed Hessian Cruiser. Following the battle, Admiral instructed me to continue the patrol until further orders arrive.
After the ''unfortunate fate'' of the Hessian Cruiser and patroling Rheinland space, Hauptmann Rutger Maximilian on board RNC-Rendsburg instructed me to redeploy to a fighter craft vessel and to get ready for a new mission. Upon arriving at Bonn Station Hauptmann informed me that Bretonian Armed Forces requested our assistance in Omega-3 system to clear the space of pirate activity. We moved to Omega-3 through Stuttgart and Omega-7 systems at best speed and finally arrived to Omega-3 just to find out that all pirates have dispersed from the trade lanes.
Hauptmann Rutger ordered me to scout the first trade lane up to Aland Shipyard and report back with my finding. After checking the trade lane and Aland Shipyard for possible pirate activity and concluding that it is non existent, I got recalled back by Hauptmann to Omega-7 gate. Together we formed a security checkpoint for passing transports looking for any potential smugglers that might try to enter Rheinland via Omega-3 gate.
After setting up a checkpoint we didn't wait long for some transport to show up. Freelancer transport named Clio came to Omega-7 gate using the trade lane from Aland Shipyard. We stopped him there and questioned him. As it turned out the captain of said vessel was Frau Elise. Transport checked out fine and was cleared to continue it's travels into Rheinland. Frau Elise had some interesting story to tell us which I will include in the log document. Visual logs are unavailable for the period of our being in Omega-3 because of the intense Ion Storms in the system.
[25.08.2014 14:32:46] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Guten tag Herr Cilo. Welcome to Checkpoint Grun. Please cut your engines for a cargo scan.
[25.08.2014 14:32:56] Clio: Um...question, is there a roadblock of military fashion?
[25.08.2014 14:33:32] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: This is Hauptmann Rutger Maximilian of the RNC-Rendsburg. Who might you be, kaptain?
[25.08.2014 14:33:44] Clio: Clio the muse, here to amuse.
[25.08.2014 14:33:59] Clio: My real name would be Elise, here to please.
[25.08.2014 14:34:15] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Most amusing. This would be a Military checkpoint. I am going to have my communications officer scan your hold now.
[25.08.2014 14:34:19] Clio: My second name is Parsons, if you would beg a pardon.
[25.08.2014 14:34:44] Clio: Why of course, I have no loss.
[25.08.2014 14:34:50] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Initiating cargo scan now.
[25.08.2014 14:35:08] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: *Smiles* Well then, Frau Elise Parsons Cilo, Muse of Omega 3, where are you headed?
[25.08.2014 14:35:28] Clio: I'm heading to Omega-3, ore there by the lee.
[25.08.2014 14:35:29] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: The transport is clear comander, all good.
[25.08.2014 14:35:41] Clio: Omega-7, my mistake, I need to do a double take.
[25.08.2014 14:36:03] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Be careful ahead, you had better not wind us dead. Pirates haven't been seen, but still remain keen.
[25.08.2014 14:36:10] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: You are clear to go, I should let you know.
[25.08.2014 14:36:14] Clio: Am I allowed to pass? I promise I'll be fast.
[25.08.2014 14:36:32] Clio: Thank you sir, I shall leave here.
[25.08.2014 14:36:41] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: What an amuzing person.
[25.08.2014 14:36:52] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Indeed, very amuzing.
We lied low and waited for the next transport to pass by, but instead Bretonian Armed Forces fighter showed up instead and asked what were we doing in Bretonia space. After some talks and clearing up the miss information on Bretonian side, we were allowed to stay at the gate and continue our transport checkpoint mission. In the mid talk with Bretonian fighter pilot Ion storm disrupted our ships and caused power outage. A few minutes later we restored all systems and continued the talk with the Bretonian and another Bretonian pilot which arrived as well after the storm. All in all, talks with them went well.
[25.08.2014 14:43:50] Lowell.Watt: Good day, Rheinlanders.
[25.08.2014 14:43:52] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Guten tag.
[25.08.2014 14:43:58] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Guten tag, herr Watt. Welcome to Checkpoint Grun. Please cut your engines and be ready for a cargo scan.
[25.08.2014 14:44:12] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Ah, belay that.
[25.08.2014 14:44:15] Lowell.Watt: Excuse me? I'm the one to be asking questions here.
[25.08.2014 14:44:29] Lowell.Watt: Would you mind explaining your presence in Omega-3?
[25.08.2014 14:44:29] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: I see you are with the armed forces. I did not see your transponder at first.
[25.08.2014 14:44:40] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Jawohl herr Watt. Gut to see a Bretonian such as yourself here.
[25.08.2014 14:45:00] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: We are here on a merchent patrol, taking invantory of traders entering Rheinland and preventing smugglers
[25.08.2014 14:45:20] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: We will also be glad to assist the BAF in however we can, seeing as we are in your space.
[25.08.2014 14:45:30] Lowell.Watt: Well. In that case, I would like to remind you that the Omega-3 treaty does not permit you to operate here, unless-
[25.08.2014 14:45:35] Lowell.Watt: pursuing a specific target.
[25.08.2014 14:46:11] Lowell.Watt: If you wish to set up a check point, please do so on the other side of this gate.
[25.08.2014 14:46:22] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: I apologize but I have to disagree. Teh last Omega treaty that I read allowed Rheinland into Omega 3 up to Aland.
[25.08.2014 14:46:33] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: I, however, do not wish to cause any confrontation.
[25.08.2014 14:46:48] Lowell.Watt: Unless it was recently changed, that is not the case.
[25.08.2014 14:46:53] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Please allow me to pull up the latest copy in my neural net in order to cross refrence.
[25.08.2014 14:47:04] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Do you mind if I take a moment to do so, my friend?
[25.08.2014 14:47:13] Lowell.Watt: Not at all, I'm in no hurry.
[25.08.2014 14:48:36] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Herr, thank you so kindly for allowing me the time. I have reveiwed our copy of the treaty and find that we are
[25.08.2014 14:48:50] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: breaking no agreement. We are here to escort economic vessles and as such we have a right to be here.
[25.08.2014 14:48:53] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: However.
[25.08.2014 14:49:11] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: The BAF reserves the right to request that Rheinland ships leave Omega 3.
[25.08.2014 14:49:35] Lowell.Watt: Hm. Seems I'll need to review the legal situation myself. That would be news to me.
[25.08.2014 14:49:35] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: And thus I shall reture our patrol to omega 7, as agreed upon under the conditions signed.
[25.08.2014 14:50:08] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: I can send you a copy if you wish, over S.K.Y.P.E. communications network, ofcorse.;
[25.08.2014 14:50:18] Lowell.Watt: I trust your information is correct, in that case feel free to remain in place.
[25.08.2014 14:50:50] Lowell.Watt: A direct link would be appreciated, would save me the trouble.
[25.08.2014 14:50:56] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Ah, thank you herr Watt. As I say we are here for both our countries' mutual benifet.
[25.08.2014 14:56:12] Lowell.Watt: Greetings once more.
[25.08.2014 14:56:32] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Tag again.
[25.08.2014 14:56:39] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Maximilian: Guten tag, Herr Watt. What an ion storm. It seemed to come out of nowhere. Herr Cornwall.
[25.08.2014 14:56:48] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Where were we. Ah yes..
[25.08.2014 14:56:50] Lowell.Watt: Indeed, blew me right back to the Cambridge gate.
[25.08.2014 14:56:57] Richard.Cornwall: Yes....yes...it carried me all the way to the Cambridge gate.
[25.08.2014 14:57:06] Richard.Cornwall: I found Lowell here and followed him.
[25.08.2014 14:57:13] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: May I have your S.K.Y.P.E. transponder code in order to send you the codex?
[25.08.2014 14:57:35] Lowell.Watt: It would be most appreciated.
[25.08.2014 14:57:43] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: And I would like to invite the both of you two to stay with our patrol. It would indeed be nice to have represensitives
[25.08.2014 14:57:49] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: of the Bretonian Crown here.
[25.08.2014 14:58:07] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: that is if you have the time ofcorse. Its mostly boring work, cataloging merchent ships and the occasional smuggler.
[25.08.2014 14:58:09] Richard.Cornwall: I may need to report back after the ion storm.
[25.08.2014 14:58:24] Lowell.Watt: I would love to, but the other Bretonian systems need our attention as well. I'm sure you have this under control.
[25.08.2014 14:58:38] Richard.Cornwall: Standard protocol for generally lesser armored patrol craft.
[25.08.2014 14:58:48] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Understood. I will obtain your communication codes in the case that anything urgent arises.
[25.08.2014 14:58:55] Richard.Cornwall: Don't want the electronics getting fried at the worst possible moment.
[25.08.2014 14:59:00] Lowell.Watt: Excellent. Stay safe, Rheinlanders.
[25.08.2014 14:59:07] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Do fly well, and thank you for coming to check on us.
[25.08.2014 14:59:17] Richard.Cornwall: No idea what happened here, but I'll take my leave.
[25.08.2014 14:59:19] Lowell.Watt: Naturally.
[25.08.2014 14:59:35] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Goodbye Bretonians, safe travels.
Last transport we stopped and questioned was a Daumann transport hauling Aluminium ore to Bretonia. We speeded up the process because we received orders from HQ to return back to New Berlin and ready for another mission.
[25.08.2014 15:26:28] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Guten tag.
[25.08.2014 15:26:31] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Guten tag daumann transport. Welcome to our checkpoint. Please halt for a cargo scan.
[25.08.2014 15:26:45] Master_Of_Air: guten tag
[25.08.2014 15:26:47] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Initianting cargo scan now.
[25.08.2014 15:27:08] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Maximilian: Where are you headed, mein herr?
[25.08.2014 15:27:12] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: The transport checks out sir, it's an Aluminium ore transport.
[25.08.2014 15:27:27] Master_Of_Air: in new london system
[25.08.2014 15:27:49] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Maximilian: Gut, gut to hear. Everything checks out, you are free to go kaptain.
[25.08.2014 15:28:02] Master_Of_Air: thx
[25.08.2014 15:28:19] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Safe travels herr.
[25.08.2014 15:28:25] Master_Of_Air: thx you too
[25.08.2014 15:41:54] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: What do we have here.
[25.08.2014 15:42:00] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: We have him.
[25.08.2014 15:42:18] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: So, lawbraker, a little explanation is in order.
[25.08.2014 15:42:45] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Max: Please, herr Zano. It would be in your best intrest to cooperate here.
[25.08.2014 15:43:01] Zin_Zano: I am
[25.08.2014 15:43:14] [RM-RNC]Rendsburg: Rutger: Shields down, vessle is debilitated.

[25.08.2014 15:45:06] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: You are asking what did you do wrong.
[25.08.2014 15:45:18] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Well, you are caring contraband amunition.
[25.08.2014 15:45:20] Zin_Zano: yes please. this is the first time i am in New Berlin

[25.08.2014 15:50:38] [RM]Fw.Maximilian.Meyer: Freelancer Zin_Zano, move along please.
After some repairs on communication relays and memory drives my ship is standing by to deal with any future threats to security and integrity of Rheinland space.
