I am proud to announce the freeing of several thousand slaves due to a fortuitous intercept! While on patrol in the Tau-23 system I ran across a vessel making for the Tau-37 anomaly. A quick inspection showed that the vessel was a slaver, and I stopped it right away. I tried to reason with him, but he insisted on running, so I had to insist on gunning! Needless to say my gunning won out! I was able to get some assistance in retrieving the exposed persons and had them returned to the Freeport for care right before some Maltese showed up. Sadly that didn't turn out so well, but the people are alive and well on Freeport 10, and that's what counts, non?
