“BLIP”

“Eh? What was that?” Courtney said after that noise had interrupted her thoughts. She then looked around. “Hmmm? Is my mind playing tricks on me now?” She commented and stood up. “Or is somebody spying on me? How exciting! Though, I wonder...why would somebody spy on Courtney?” It was quite hard for Courtney to figure out from which direction the sound came, as it only lasted for a few seconds. "Well I guess I'll just walk around and see if I can find anything."

“BLIP!” She imitated the sound while scanning the numerous tombstones and bushes in the graveyard with the hope to find what she was looking for. “BLIP! Well...I could’ve sworn it came from here, or was it in the other direction?” Courtney mumbled. “Hmmm, now you’re even chasing after ghosts… really now? But…”

Courtney wasn’t sure if it was her imagination, but she had the strange feeling that she was being watched. That feeling was common during the past ten years, people were constantly observing her from a safe place. It was disrespectful and always made her angry in the past. Now it was not any different, in fact, it was even worse. “Okay, enough of this. Whoever you are, wherever you are, I know that you’re here. Show yourself. I’m sick and tired of playing games.” Courtney yelled, hoping to receive an answer.
