Chapter 1

The fall of Mr. Johnathan Elation

My dad, Mr. Jonathan Elation, the man who taught me to be strong in the weakest times. However on this late night even the strongest fall. Jonathan Elation was one of the best light arms dealers out there. Doing everything he could to keep me and my sister happy. I, Travis "Tenabras" Elation, was the strong one out of me and my sister Trinity. When we got the news that our dad was finally caught smuggling artifacts into Manhattan. We knew the worse was soon to come. Knowing my father he never gave up even when there was danger. That's exactly what he did. With a fine and a warning I was told my dead was heading back out to Order space. That space that has claimed so many lives before. He was heading to Planet Crete with his load of light arms, as always. When he arrived to Gamma he met up with a man he was talking to on private comm, Cpt. Hammer. They both got artifacts from Crete and went on there way. Going through Omicron Kappa, Delta, Minor, then Alaska. They made it to New York without a problem.

Somehow when they arrived the same man who fined my father the first time appeared on the radar. What are the odds of him suddenly appearing right when they entered New York. Nonetheless my father wanted to drop his load off at Manhattan. Cpt. Hammer however played it safe and went to Rochester Base. When my father arrived within radar range of Manhattan he saw [SA] Leo Goodmen or Goodman I cant remember. Any how he tried the swing about. Going around the planet and comming out the other side. Leo was ready and forced my dad to pull out into the field behind Manhhatan. He tried again, this time my father made it onto Manhattan. He instantly sold his load and undocked. To no surprise Leo was waiting.

Leo said thats strike two Elation. My father just ignored it. Leo then tried to fine him 4 million credits. Father however was determined to save the money for Trinity's new ship. Cpt. Hammer started to show on radar, and my father showing no will to pay the fine started taking hits from Leo's fighter. The week shield couldn't hold. He ran and moored to New York with no time to lose. After a few minutes my dad came back out to take on Leo once again. Launching the first volley and mooring again. Just so he can say he got a hit. Leo, now mad at the old man continuously mooring, started to get irritated. One last time my father came out. This time though he didn't fire or moor. He freaking ran!

Engaging cruise engines and using Cpt. Hammers ship as a shield he rushed to the trade lane leading to the shipyards. Though his Behemoth(named Elation) was no match for Leo's agile fighter. Once at the shipyard the Elation started her cruise engine again. Leo launched a large volley of cruise disrupters. All somehow managed to dodge the counter-measures the Elation dropped. After a long chase and continuous hits from Leo's fighter. The Elation couldn't take no more. She exploded in a spectacular display of fire. My dads escape pod made it back to Manhattan where Trinity was waiting.

After 3 hours in the ICU Jonathan Elation was pronounced dead. Cause of death, severe loss of blood from a hit in the head. Trinity, crying from the bad news, called me.
I was furious. I knew I couldn't do anything while my ship was in Evora Shipyard for repairs. I told Trinity that I couldn't do anything to help her at that time. She hung up on me. This is where she finds her strength.

Leo Goodmen has scored the first and last kill in the Elation family tree.

Jonathan Elation will not be seeing his dream come true. His daughter becoming a true pilot.
