"Why does KTA need a gunship?"
The most recent reports state that KTA with cooperation wish Samura have finished construction of the new gunship on Yokohama Shipyard, New Tokyo. However, what such a heavy escort is for? The reasons are unknown and Katsuyori Takeda, chairman of the KTA, denied any claims that KTA labeled gunship has been built recently in Samura shipyards. There are rumors however that KTA is extending their market's range and this may be the very reason for need of such heavy vessel. The recent Blood Dragon activity in Kyushu is also a reason why KTA would even consider request of such ship.
