Second day of patrol.
I served as Valente Rossi's wingman, we travelled through the Tau systems with the intention of reaching Liberty space to find information about recent Outcast capital ships activity in that house. However, we did not get to Liberty. While moving from Baffin jump hole to Cortez jump hole in Coronado system, we encountered a Colonial vessel. The data recorder from my Rapier had not been repaired by the time, so the names of that vessel and the following ones will be omitted from this report.
The Colonial vessel remained peaceful for about 3 minutes, and then, as expected and desired, it showed its intention of producing heavy damage on the Administrator's VHF. Rossi decided to take him alone, and therefore, I remained still on a side. But not for long, another Colonial vessel showed up before 2 minutes, and they decided to go after me.
As the manual entitled "How to recognise a moronic Colonial pilot" says, it wasn't long after that that a third Colonial ship appeared on scanners. But, surprisingly it did not engage at sight, which turned out to be a mistake, as both of our first contenders were destroyed by Valente Rossi's guns. And, eventually, the third shpi was also gunned down.
Our first task was cancelled, and both of us returned home.
