Subject: Pilot Report 821/10/05 Order Overwatch,
The emergency channel was full with reports about a Core cruiser within the reaches of Mu. Admittedly, a very serious situation. I immediately went on to fly there from our outpost in Omicron Zeta.
The hostile was located close to our mining field. Upon my arrival, two of our capitals were already shooting him. They looked like they had the situation under control, as the Core vessel was already severely damaged, so I did not risk anything and kept out of the fight. Eventually, realising the futility of the fight, the Core vessel attempted to retreat. The opportunity to destroy one of their capital chance was a chance I had to take, so I immediately took action and launched several lethal torpedoes onto the hostile cruiser. It exploded meters before it could reach the jumphole. Survey teams made sure that all remains that passed through the hole were gathered. Any survivors were brought to our outpost in Zeta for further questioning.
