So, lets try a some story. Sorry for my a bit rusty English, but i hope its mostly correct.

A day from Adrian's life.

Adrian was stationed at Battleship Isis as one of the regular fighter pilots, patrolling the area near the B-Ship Isis and the Omicron-100 jumphole. He proved himself as a good fighter pilot, agile with the fighter controls and able to shoot right in the target more good. Another day, it's all was the same - nomad fighters, bounty hunters scout group, little navy patrols around some jumpholes. His wing was an another patrol, which is almost ended and ships are headed back to Isis, when they have received a private message from Isis:
- We are picking LSF ships on our scanners! Launch all fighters! Charge your weapons immediately.
- Roger that, Isis. What do you picking on the long-range scanners?
- Scans show that there are one Navy Cruiser, 3 gunboats, and 5 fighters.
- We can't stand too long against the capital ships, they can crush us in a couple of shots.
- You need to keep their attention off the Isis and the Toledo, before Praetorians wll arrive. Take off the Guardians, if you can, they can be a big trouble to bombers.
- We are still outnumbered; only 4 Nephthys fighters against the middle-sized fleet. Not fair, i must admit.
- Beta and Gamma wings will launch from Toledo in a minute or two, just hold them off.
- Understood
Adrian looked at his scanner data. Hostiles were 10k away, moving at full speed.
- Okay guys, so listen: Alpha-3 and Alpha-4, take care of the gunboats, use the 'maximum fire' manoeuvres. Alpha-2, follow me, we must shot out the fighters. Don't worry about cruiser, it won't hit us at such distance. Isis will provide us with some help.
- Alpha-2. Roger.
- Alpha-3. Understood.
- Alpha-4. Affirmative.
The fleet turned off the cruise engine, moving slowly to wing's location. Isis opened fire from some turrets, targeting still not regrouped in battle formation fighters. One of them with an amazing explosion became a bit of space dust.

- This is Beta Wing. We're going in.
- This is Gamma-1. Engaging.
- Beta and Gamma, take off the gunboats, Alpha, destroy the fighters.
Suddenly the cruiser forward gun has shotted. It only hitted the rocks in field.
And the fight has started.
Beta and Gamma opened fire with all guns and fired Sunslayer torpedoes. Everything was looking fine - pilots were very good trained, so to defeat a small amount of fighters was a little job. Two gunboats were destroyed by precise fire of Sunslayers, other one and the cruiser were shooting at full power. Their shields were too strong, although the last gunboat was destroyed, but not the cruiser.
- Mission accomplished, let's wait for bombers. They're deal with this cruiser.
Cruiser Forward gun shotted again, and now its shot hitted the planet. Hoply, no bases were harmed by this shot. But 3 Praetorians suddenly emerged from the nebula.
- Zeta-1. Bombers arrived!
- Great, let's finally deal with this cruiser, before it will be able to shot the planet again!
- Fly to Isis, dont get too close! Launching Novas...
6 Nova torpedoes hitted the cruiser, damaged its shield. Then another six... Then there was a giant flash of light and a huge explosion...
- This is Isis. Radars clear! Alpha wing is clear to dock at bays 2 and 3. It's over.
