We are digressing from the issue....
I wish for these Factions to be introduced to the game.

Also, asking for sectors and bases is not a massive undertaking. Several new sectors were added, mainly as "Guard" sectors for various factions. There will probably be more...so why not add mine too...?

The guard systems (btw right words is system, not sector, because sectors are desription for space inside every system e.g. sector A-5 in New Berlin system etc) are currently under review and some of them will be removed in next update. Discovery server is now under process of reviewing and decreasing number of systems. Also, by rules, every official faction had (maybe still has, not sure) right to ask for one. You want five for two factions. I´m pretty sure this will never happen.

Also, you still didn´t properly explain who those two factions are. In Discovery they can be only humans, aliens (but mind you, by Discovery Freelancer lore nomads are only aliens in the universe around) or AI. Because of lack of explanation, it still makes a little impression they are more mythological creatures. Those don´t fit into universe of Discovery Freelancer.

For me, it looks like you are doing same mistake as many new players. You jump in and try to create faction without proper knowledge of Discovery server lore, current ingame universe and also process of creating succesful faction which would be accepted by majority of local player community. Best advice I can give you is - take a break and go look around how things work here.

Just a side note: Please can someone edit the poll so that 'none' and 'other' options are added (as well as other appropriate options), either that or move it to the flood section please. Having a poll in a serious part of the forums where we have to agree with the views of whomever is creating the poll is stupid. What if I don't want to be in either faction? Or what if I want to be in both?

I think that fact that only one player voted in that poll so far speaks for itself.
