SUGGESTION - If you're going to open a feedback thread, actually listen to the feedback provided. You cannot tamper with Nomad lore for the last time . You cannot retcon yourself into existing lore for the last time. This is just painful to watch, seriously.

You cannot retcon yourself into existing lore.

No idea what retcon means, but everything that was written about the Nomads AFTER the Nomad War has all been made up. The original Freelancer game creators ddnt say THIS is what was going to happen after the war, they ENDED the game there.
So, everything that has "happened" since then, with ALL factions, is basically just a MASSIVE "tampering".
Albeit a MOD creators idea of what "would" (or rather COULD) have happened since the Nomad War.

Saying that I cant tamper with something that has already been tampered with is just...contradictory.

And, as I said, it is NOT tampering...
Observe...

FACT: The Daam K'vosh existed, but left...for some reason.
FACT: Nomads infest humans, and can control them.
CONJECTURE: Nomad controlled Humans can mate and produce hybrid children.

FACT: There is NOTHING that says the Daam K'vosh can NEVER return.
FACT: There is NOTHING to say that Nomad infested humans cant mate.
CONJECTURE: The child of two infested humans would have some Nomad properties.

FACT: There was NO mention of "The Wild" before the faction was created.
FACT: There was also NO mention of "The DaemonS" before I created it.
CONJECTURE: If one can simply be ADDED into the Nomad "lore", so can the other.

FACT: My idea has merit...as you, and others, have said.
FACT: I do not possess the ability to pitch this idea correctly.
CONJECTURE: My inability to make a good pitch means my idea is rubbish.

I think that all speaks for itself...
The facts ARE correct, and can NOT be disputed.
The conjecture is different. It cannot be proven as TRUE, but it also cannot be proven as FALSE. Claiming its FALSE when no proof is available, is not in-keeping with the CURRENT version of the game...especially since a lot of NEW factions have been introduced. Some of which, althouh seeming like good ideas, do not "fit" within the RP parameters, or with the game as a whole.

The Wild, The Reapers, The Core, The Coalition...and GALLIA being prime examples there!
Not to mention, once again, that The Reapers is VERY similar to the idea I originally had for "The DaemonS".

So basically you know WAY more than anyone here, right? That's amazing, considering you have only been here a month. But, hey, what would all of us know? None of us have ever tried any of this before you, right?

I give up. Can someone with way more patience than myself lay it down for this guy? I can't post here anymore, I just can't.
