Good Evening All,
At some point over the last two weeks an unauthorized order to remove Fort Wayne's armor was carried out. I'm uncertain where the order in question originated and, ultimately, it doesn't matter right now. The net result was a Logistics Ship left under equipped and, frankly, a sitting duck for anyone with more guts then brains.
I'm glad to say that Commander Graham has since secured additional reinforcing for Fort Wayne and that the ship is once again combat ready. However; this incident has highlighted serious deficiencies in the access codes utilized by the Corps.
Some of you may have noticed that you were unable to access your ships earlier today. This was due to upgrades to the identification systems aboard Fort Wayne, Lakewood, and White Mage. I'm also informed that due to a technical error the existing user database was wiped in the process. Yes, that does mean that your details will have to be re-entered into the system to regain command access.
CDR Graham, LCDR Harrison and I have been processed already, and we'll be able to guide you through the process via SKYP-3 connection. Failing that, send a message over this frequency requesting access and you'll be sent the new authentication codes.
I know it's an inconvenience people, but the sooner you get started the sooner you'll be done.
Regards,
Jane Hartman
