We're halfway through the elections for the Kusari Parliament and exit polls are predicting a KRP victory. The reformists gathered almost 50% of the votes and are well ahead of the surprise that occupies the second position, the N-KA. It looks like the DPK are about to lose many seats in the Parliament.

Officials announced some small incidents during the voting process. In Nagano, a citizen was hardly calmed down after he accused the state of electoral fraud, claiming that Kishiro made terminals would redistribute the votes.

An electricity blackout took down the terminals in the small town of Yashigawa. The voting was done for over three hours using the old method of paper bulletins and stamps.

Two new voting methods were introduced for these elections. Those two methods are mostly used by people that spend most of their time in space, away from any base or planet. Neural-Net interface and a separate net line opened by Kusari especially for these elections (dial 5566) seem to be the methods of the future. However, there are voices, especially reformists and nationalists that claim the system to be "a tool in republicans' hands".

Representatives of the Ameparty have agreed to give us an exclusive interview. However, when asked to comment the latest exit poll results, the answer was... shocking: "Kill! Kill! Kill!". With that, we wonder if the people that allowed such a party to form and exist are sane?

We'll be back with more news about the elections in the following days. Follow us on snn.kt-na.ku to get the latest news. For KTNA, this was Kenji Kwan.

//snn.kt-na.ku is the "online" version of the KT-NA. snn. stands for Sirius Neural Net and .ku is Kusari domain.
