He listened to the officer, not particularly interested in what he was saying but feigning interest as he'd been trained. Once the officer had finished his spiel, he picked up the pen that the officer had offered him and took a moment to sign the document:
Quote:I Jackson Cormack hereby pledge to uphold the Laws of the People's Republic of the Sirius Coalition. I also declare the Sirius Coalition my Nation of citizenship and pledge to support the State Duma and it's elected Premier of the Sirius Coalition.
From Henceforth I am a member of the Coalition, should I endanger the citizens of the Coalition knowingly I will submit myself to the laws of the People's Republic and subject to a Court Martial. I vow to follow the orders of my Commanding Officers within the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army and to ensure the rule of law is enforced within it's territories and ensure the safety of all Sirian Civilians so long as they do not hinder the progress of the Coalition.
Signed
Jackson E. Cormack

Noticing that the officer had buried himself in more of his paperwork, he decided to take his leave. He placed the pen back on the desk, grabbed the document, and began to walk out the door. One of the guards walked up to the door's terminal and punched in a code of some kind. A few moments later, the door opened with a hiss, and Jackson took his leave from the office.
As he exited the room, he noticed the desk from earlier now had a woman sitting at it. Wearing clothing similar to the garb of the security officers but slightly more formal, he could only assume she was an aide of the recruiting officer or somesuch - probably the Alicia he had mentioned earlier. He walked up, placing the paper on her desk. She looked up from her computer, took hold of the document, and nodded.
